Walking and Sailing
It is great fun to view the city of Leiden from the water. However, not all of the ‘Leiden gems’ can be seen from the water. You will walk for an hour and sail for an hour, and you can choose from the walking packages below.
Do you have specific wishes? We are happy to think along with you and also offer these packages tailored to your needs.
With our regular catering partners, we are happy to provide catering on board for you; from a ‘Coffee Boat’ to a luxury lunch on board. Also view our catering options.

Historic City Centre
The guide will take you along the University and of course you will also hear the stories about the oldest church in Leiden from 1121, (the Pieterskerk) and then you will also understand why Leiden is nicknamed 'Key City'. If you want you can also climb the medieval Leidse Burcht and imagine yourself back in the Middle Ages.

Rembrandt
During this walk you will see where Rembrandt was born, where he was baptized, where he went to school, where he trained as a painter, and so on. Depending on opening hours, a visit will also be made to the Rembrandt studio, where a unique video of the young Rembrandt is shown.

Courtyards
Leiden is a city of courtyards. There are 35 of them and during this walk we will visit a number of them. You can then enjoy the beauty and silence in these unique places to live.

Wandeling op maat
Are you going on a trip with your Historical Society or do you want to discuss a specific topic with a class during the walk?
